EVERYDAY SOCIAL PRACTICES

Cross-cutting issue 4 is a separate, cross-sectional project and deals with different conceptual, analytical, and everyday levels on cybersecurity: Everyday Social Practices.

The cross-sectional project thus combines results from its own research on ethnographic and technographic use of technology, data protection, and digital security with the work of all projects within the research association. It is in constant exchange with all project partners and the other cross-cutting issues.

The aim will be to bring together different knowledge and practices from science, the workplace and private everyday life at the conceptual level of everyday social practices and to prepare them for collaborations: How can tools for safeguarding digital everyday life look like, how do they have to differ for application in companies? Where do scientific, private-everyday and work practices meet when dealing with security, passwords or smart devices?
